Shipping & returns

Shipping

Your order will be shipped with PostNL. We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, preferably on the same day. PostNL processes parcels daily until 5:00 PM and typically delivers them on the next working day within the Netherlands.

International shipments may take between 2 and 4 working days to arrive. Items that are temporarily out of stock will be reordered if indicated as such in the webshop. In that case, delivery may take up to two weeks.

Right of Withdrawal – Returns

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without providing any reason.

After cancellation, you have a further 14 days to return the product. Once we have received the returned item, you will receive a full refund of the order amount, including the original shipping costs, within 14 days, provided that the product or service is not excluded from the right of withdrawal (for example personalised items such as engraved products).

Only the cost of returning the item from your address to our webshop is at your expense. Please consult your chosen carrier for the applicable rates.

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product should be returned to Het Noteerhuis with all supplied accessories and, where reasonably possible, in its original condition and packaging. To arrange a return, please contact us. We will refund the amount due within 14 days of receiving your return, provided that the product has been returned in good order.

How to return an item

1. Please contact us in advance and mention your order number. This allows us to anticipate your return.
2. Prepare your return by gathering the product and all accessories. If available, please use the original packaging.

Please note: We expect returned products to be complete and undamaged. If a product is damaged or incomplete, you may still return it, but please describe its condition in your email. Any refund may be adjusted depending on the nature and extent of the damage.

Exchanges

An exchange = a return + a new order

Exchanging a product is effectively a matter of returning the original item and placing a new order.

The advantage of this approach is that you can immediately order the correct product and receive it quickly. Any price differences are also settled automatically.

How to exchange an item

1. If you would like to exchange a product for a different size, colour or variant, simply place a new order through www.hetnoteerhuis.nl.
2. Follow the return procedure described above for the item you wish to return.
3. Your new order will be processed and shipped as quickly as possible.
4. Your return will be handled according to the procedure described above.
